Research topics

The main scientific interests of the Operations Research group are related to problems of Combinatorial Optimization. In particular, the group deals with problems of localization / allocation, Network Flow problems, problems of substructures identification in the field of telecommunication and transportation networks. Currently the group is working on problems of "sensors network" and problems related to the identification of optimal strategies for the management of the health system (health care systems).
